Chuo University Alumni Entrepreneur Lecture

On April 9, 2026 (Wednesday), CEO Shinichi Sakurada and Chairman Sachio Semmoto spoke at the "Alumni Entrepreneur Lecture" held at Chuo University's Korakuen Campus, Building 1, 5th Floor Event Hall.

Under the title "AI Regenerative Medicine Revolution by AI BIOMEDICAL — A Challenge from Chuo University Science & Engineering," they presented on the development of the world's first pediatric regenerative artificial heart and the innovation of medical manufacturing through the QUANTUM method, which integrates AI, digital twin, and 3D bioprinting technologies.

CEO Sakurada, who completed his Master of Engineering in Applied Chemistry at Chuo University Graduate School in 2007, shared his journey from researcher to entrepreneur and the global challenges in the regenerative medicine field with students at his alma mater. Chairman Semmoto, drawing on his experience founding DDI Corporation (now KDDI), delivered a message about startup management philosophy and social significance.

Mayumi Shibaie, a judicial scrivener and entrepreneurship consultant (Chuo University Faculty of Law, 2004), also spoke, providing advice from a legal perspective on starting a business.

The event was well attended by students and alumni, with a lively Q&A session at its core. We hope this lecture serves as an inspiration for the next generation's own challenges.
